As lots have said...CAMS, BOOST CONTROL, FUEL PUMP AND A FLASH!

I wouldn't listen to anyone who said turbo-back exhaust because they have Zero reading comprehension skillz and didn't catch that you already have that taken care of.

You need cams and the supporting mods(pump and a flash) regardless of what you will upgrade down the road. If you aren't happy then you can always buy more parts. But you can't go wrong with cams. Word, I run 264's. With boost control you can dial in 24 psi on 100 octane and go play with the big boys.

Get a custom tune WITH your intake and 272 intake/exhaust cams, with MBC, and alcohol kit.

the intake is fine as long as you plan on getting tuned soon as it will make you run very rich.

This question has been answered a million times but some cams, a custom tune, and alky will get your friend in good shape against cobras. With all that and the basic mods your friend will be trapping close to 115 in the quarter mile which would set him ahead of stock cobra, stock c5 z06, and a few other highway monsters.

Good luck.

i hear that you can get just as much power gain, as much air flow and still make the noise with a modified stock airbox, as you can with a CAI. my buddy is going BT on his VIII and he want to go to a modded airbox instead. . . more stock lookin...

I'm running stock turbo... haven't had a stock Cobra, C5, C6, Z06, Viper GTS, Viper SRT-10, etc. keep up yet...

Trust me, stock turbo has far more potential than most people think... hell, I still even have the 9.8cm^2 hotside. =]

WTH?!? Aftermarket intake will not make you run rich, it will make your AFR erratic, that's why you should get a custom tune if you plan on running it. IMO, lose the intake, put the stocker back on with a K&N drop in filter ... still sounds good and 0 loss in "driver-ability".

Other than that ... ditto to what others have said: cams (HKS 272/272), cam gears, exhaust, fuel pump, TUNE (Vishnu Xflash would be my choice). Possibly throw in a better recirculating BOV (JDM MR). Or, as a final option ... go full ***** out and go for a 2.3 stroker with a GT35r and meth injection.

the stock is really good. Way better than an CAI or any intake. the reason is that the stock box sucking in cool cair form the outside. if you get an intake it sound cool, but suckign in hot air formt he engine That's why you loose power. If you aks any true import shop they will tell keep the stock box. Give RRE, Tuning Tech, XS engineering. they all will tell you the same thing. just get an K&N drop in, it works best. I know people who have an 458WHP evo everyday driven on 91 octane use the stock box.

İf you want top end power than you sould buy first 10.5 hotside,,272's cams, tubuler headers and reflash and also buy fuel pump for safety.
