fuel cut or boost cut?
well, im having quite the dilema with my vehicle... i keep hitting this cut. i dont know which if fuel or boost.
here are the symptoms. i WOT it from any gear but 1st at low rpm's (around 3k) then when it hits about 4 or 5 my car just like cuts boost or fuel or something. and then feels like i hit a wall or something, then continues through the rpms. but if i downshift and the rpms are above 5 and go through the gears it wont happen
) boost i believe goes to 0? idk
i had this problem before but was solved by turning down the boost to about 20psi instead of the normal 21. (ran 12.5@108 with 20lbs of boost)
since then, all ive got was a fuel pump.. (could that be it?)
current mods:
3" Helix TBE
MBC set at 19.5
buschur intake
walbro fuel pump
greddy type-s BOV
safc-II with buschur settings
i was thinking maybe it could be that with the fuel pump increse i would need bigger injectors?
also i had a clutch installed, so maybe a boost leak? idk...
any help would be greatly appriciated.

oh... i have an safc-II with buschur settings...
but the this wasnt a problem even with the safc before i put in the fuel pump and installed the clutch... so im not blaming the safc because i ran perfect before...

Hi,
I didn't see current mileage on your car?
I had the exact same symptoms plague me last winter. For several months, I drove "around" the problem and never went WOT near TQ peak because I would get a hiccup. It really sucked.
Anyway, I did various things to help, but none of these cured my problem:
Lowered boost.
Leaned out SAFC slightly.
Tightened all clamps on IC hoses, then switched to T-bolt clamps, then switched to Samco hoses.
Tried NGK coppers (BPR7ES and BR7ES) with various gaps. ~.026 worked better.
Finally, I switched my Magnecor wires back to stock, and the problem disappeared. Basically, the Mangecors did not have perfect fitment, so I was getting misfire. Currently running stock wires and NGK BPR7ES and haven't had the problem in almost a year.
Not sure if you have stock wires? Look at plugs and gap or try swapping wires to see if it helps. If not plug/wire related, double check for boost leaks.
Good luck.

thanks...
Your hitting the fuel cut. Try switching back to the stock airbox because the intake may cause higher MAF readings. If switching back to the stock airbox helps keep that until you get flashed.
