Hurry, QUICK ? on 02 mechanical fix..

Im doing the o2 mechanical fix on my tsudo exhaust. When the o2 sensor is in place, the back of the sensor almost touches the metal of the car by 1/4 inch. If i use the two antifoulers im sure it would be too long when everything is screwed into place. I can rotate the exhaust tube and then it should fit but the sensor would be too low to the ground and probably be the first thing that breaks in a speedbump. How do yall do it? Also is the sensor suppost to be completely sealed off from the exhaust?? Reading absolutley no air? Can i just put the o2 sensor with the antifoulers and seal off the little hole at the end and securely hide somewhere under the car? (not screwed into the bung). Thanks for the help.

You don't want to seal it off. Leave the little hole open so it will get a little exaust flow.

Worst case scenario, weld another bung on. It is a tight squeeze, but many use it just like that.

i originally tried one anti-fouler but it didn't push the o2 sensor out enough and i still would throw a code for it so i tried 2 of them together and it put the senosr way too close to the chassis of the car and would rub on the wires anytime i hit a bump or tuned hard. i eventually just went to Foxworth&Galbrath (Ace Hardware) and found some brass fittings and pieced together something that works. i found a 90 degree elbow with a male and female end and threaded that into the exhaust and then threaded the o2 into the fitting. works perfect. if you have any questions just pm me your email and i can go out and take a pic for you if you're having a hard time "seeing" what i am talking about. good luck.

one anti-fouler didn't work for. Two wouldn't fit (same problem you're having). You can't just plug off the port on the exhaust piping and "tie-off" the O2 sensor in the air, that will throw a trouble code also.

I broke down and bought the perrin 02 simulator. works great!

Alright. Just installed the tsudo test pipe with the cel bung fix. This test pipe comes pre welded with a bung cel fix. The problem was that the cable of the o2 sensor is too short. I pulled the cable a little more till the plug came out of the interior and it finally reached. I put lots of tape and some other stuff to make it weather tight. I turned on the car and let it idle for 5 minutes and no CEL yet. The real test is right now that im going to work. 45 mn of driving at 60 mph should let me know. I'll let yall know tommorow if it came on. Thanks.
