I really need some help, car shakes violently

I blew my clutch out and went with the exedy twin disk. After the clutch was installed we put in some HKS 280s and the SMC alky kit. but now I have a problem always in first gear about 1800-3000 rpms the the engine shakes so violently it bounces the down pipe off of the crossmembers.

Does anyone know what would cause this or ever have this problem before. I really need somebodys help on this.

Thanks

sounds like someone broke a motor mount or something...hard...but possible...installing the new clutch sometimes requires some drastic engine movement and at one point there is only one motor mount holding the engine and maybe tranny up...lets hope no short cuts were taken during your install...

check motor mounts.

with a broken motor mount would you feel the vibration in low rpms only?

Dont look and rely solely on the marks. If you look at my thread, there are people who answer some of your questions on there. Good Luck.

I am not sure if that is my problem, my car only does in the low rpms and most of the time only in 1st gear. After I get over the 3000 rpms it seems to fine.

Maybe its just your "plates" seating, and normal.
