I have never heard a HKS cam gear slipping but for extra safety reason, I would advise you to get a 5 bolts design such as Helix or AEM.

BTW...I am having a special on the Helix cam gears for only $249 shipped! Click here for more info

Thanks,
Tom

Hey dude, Finally starting to post, lol. I have HKS Cam gears and have never had a problem.
He is right about the supra thing, It seems to only happen on supra's, But I have never heard of this in Mitsubishi's.

It is very possible they can slip..I had a set on my honda and some how the timing belt ate up some of the metal on the camgear teeth...teeth became sharp and were cutting thru timing belt..

About the eating away at the timing belt, HKS just came out with a new version of the cam gears which are supposed to fix the problem of the wear. The new ones are purple and silver in color not purple an teal like the older ones.
