Support for cams Cams
Support for cams
my next step is gonna be HKS Cams 272 with Cam Gears ...
i wanna know what do i need for mods to support the Cams for it not harming the Engine ... like Headgasket .. etc ..
after i get the cams .. im gonna equip a fuel pump also ... then gonna send my ecu for a Flash ..
Current Mods .. as u see in signature
and should i get a DC Sports Brushed Stainless Steel Manifold before the cams ..
because some friends told me a manifold will Decrease the Evos HP

There are losts of posts about this.
you don't need springs or lashes for HKS 272's
Boost up to 24 or 26 doesn't need studs - look around, I forget the exact limits
Gasket not needed unless your are high milage
Stock Ex Mani better than the cheap mani's under $400 (I think torque loss is the issue on poorly designed headers)
Also avoid cheap O2 housings - no real gains and you loose the support bracket that's on the stock.
Dude - You have an MR!, don't cheap out - save up for the good stuff
good luck

Cams, a fuel pump, and an intake with boost control is just going to be a complete mess on an untuned car. I realize that you are in Bahrain and tuning is not as easy to attain, but the last thing you should be doing is continually adding mods while completely ignoring the tuning. YOu are going to be spending lots of money and have a car that runs like total ***.
I would highly recommend injectors, fuel pump, ARP headstuds, cam gears, and most importantly a tune. Please note that you can't just upgrade one thing and not the other.

"remember the stock injectors are damn near at full output get some 650's"
Not sure about the need for injectors. where did you get your flow calculations?
Vishnu doesn't show an injector upgrade with their 390 HP stage and that is about where this guy will end up theorectically.
(I don't use their stuff nor, am I'm NOT a fanboy, But I DO respect what they do)
Tuning should definitely be done on his car, BUT with his mod's he may still run OK while he looks around for a good shop or waits for a flash, etc....
(edit: that is "waits till he decides when" he wants to take his car out of action while the ECU is sent out. Saw the way that comment looked and had to fix it :-)
I ran 272/264's with a 10.5 Hotside while waiting to put in my wideband in and it ran fine at 5280 ft. If anybody was going to be way rich, I should have been. I was still averaging between 22 mpg normal driving 18 stepping on it a lot.
not saying it won't be better with the right tune (hoping for 30-40 more hp after the tune) I was hitting right at 300 uncorrected on 93 (again at 5280 above sea level). That works out to 350 HP untuned with a modest correction of 1.17.
The local DynoJet usually corrects at at least 1.25 - 1.28 which is way too generous for a turbo car up here.
My logs showed I was hitting peak 94 duty cycles and 92 after a Walbro install. Usually I was in the high 80's under full load, WOT.
He should also look into a logger and SAFC if he can't find a local shop to dial it all in.
Just another perspective.
