between these two exhaust...?

JIC or GREDDY?

Im going for Ti on the cat-back
what is the difference between the JIC 505 Titanium Catback and the greddy Ti?
I know the greddy is 3.25"(i think) and the JIC is 3" and a little more $$$
but quality, weight, hp

Right now I just have the HKS RS kit, MBC, getting a cat-back and a mail-in flash soon.
also will they both bolt-on to the factory cat?

thanks all....

i think the greddy is 3 inch... but i think the difference is the titanium which makes up for the cost difference... i had the hks on my viii and it sounded great... just a big big can and if i backed up to far to a curb it would rub

IMO you will not see any significant gains from a CBE, I would get the full TBE, you can get it with a hi-flow cat if you're worried about being legal.

The only two Greddy products I have bought for two different cars broke due to poor craftsmanship; T-67 & CBE. I know people will ***** and moan but its all just static pieces of metal. This would be one of the few places I would not pay a premium, so go with Megan Racing from Zeus.

If you HAD to get one of the two; my advice is to stay away from anything Greddy as they seem to F#%k up the simplest things.

You're going to love this, but according to their Japanese site, they're both 80mm diameter. The Greddy's tip is 115mm and the JIC is 116mm (type 1).

Good luck.

p.s. I'd choose the cheaper one.

I would go with Greddy, and I don't get why everyone recommends megan so much, yea its cheap, yea it does the same thing as any other exhaust, but yea it doesn't last for anything if you live in a place that uses a lot of salt in the winter. My megan exhaust rusted out on the welds in one winter, replaced it with a Greddy and no rusting out watsoever. If I lived in an area that didn't have bad winters Megan would be a top choice for me but for those of us that don't pick up an exhaust with a little more quality.

dont know about the JIC but the Greddy CBE is full titanium. If it cost cheaper than the JIC just get the Greddy if money is an issue. I dont know about Megan racing...I guess its personall preference if you want JDM or not. I had the Greddy and it was a nice exhaust... about 10lbs total weight... you can toss the exhaust in the air...its that light. Dont know why people think it sucks.. its a beautiful exhaust. But before you buy a full titanium catback just remember those suckers are loud as hell... I had it for a few months and couldnt stand it and bought a HKS Hi power. I wanted to keep the Greddy cause it was so dam light but the noise was too much for me.... at first its all good cause your all happy and stuff but after a couple of months ...it starts to annoy you

the HKS carbon Ti is not a full titanium exhaust...only the muffler is thats why its cheaper. The Hi poewr exhaust sounds really nice...its not quite or rediculously loud but I think its perfect... At first its very quite then after 2 weeks its starts to get a bit louder after break in I guess... Same thing with my Greddy...at first it was loud and deep then it got freaking loud.
