Leaky hose problem....need suggestions

I switched out some of my hoses to stainless steel braided. Now the hose connected to the bottom of my power steering resevoir is leaking. I guess the worm clamps aren't enough to make it seal.

I was thinking about putting a little silicon on the nipple before putting the hose on but am afraid it may get clogged in the system somewhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make the seal better and get it to stop leaking?

Thanks
