378whp/385tq - 93oct/stock turbo NO alcy/race gas

I met my goal today and made some sick numbers! Car is pulling harder than I imagined possible with these mods. Boost was at 22.5-23psi, falling to 19-20 by redline. Power drops alot after 7500 so Ill shift around 7300 most likely. Car is an absolute rocket. Alcohol is next. I believe this is or right near the record for stock turbo on straight 93 octane. The torque suprised me more than the HP!

How's that clutch holding? I made the same power and the stock clutch went bye bye, died on me, havent been able to make a damn trip to the track and test what it feels to have 370 whp and same in torque.

Yeah my clutch actually slipped once on the dyno and I got pretty scared, its got 36,000 miles on it believe it or not and ive been making 344 ft/lb since 4000miles. That is def my next upgrade. I turned the boost down a notch just to help out and keep it alive. However, its still holding all the power, and its NEVER slipped on me to date (other than today on the dyno)

24 psi

Isn't 24lbs high? A machanic at the Mitsubishi dealership, who supposedly went to some sort of training on Evo's, told me 22lbs of boost will cause the stock turbo to come apart. Are most people running over 21lbs of boost on stock turbo?

Good job!

Proof right here that plenty of energy can be unleashed with more efficient boost pipes and exhaust ducting - especially before and around the turbo

That's highly unlikely as many, many people are running well over 21psi on the stock turbo. Not to mention that any engineer that would design a turbo to run near 21psi stock and blow up at 22psi or more should be shot! That's not much of a safety factor.

Wow!!! Stock fuel pump and injectors at 24psi

Did you take a gander at your injector duty cycle when you got tuned on the dyno. Because, holy moses, I'm running outside to turn up my boost...
