Talking Good news!!

As some of you know, i had a freeze pug come off for the 2nd time and had low pressure on cyl 3 and 4... Well,I called the dealer and they got an answer from the machine shop, the head is still good in perfect condition. The head didnt get warped at all, and as i had mentioned before the pistons and everything else looked good also!!! Looks like it was a blown head gasket after all, i should have my car back wendesday finally Ive been driving a galant for the last 2 weeks and i want my car back!!!!!!!!

If it happens again, i will lemon the car. The dealer knows it was NOT caused by the mbc. They told me theres a tsb out for this which im aware off. The service manager and i think that the reason it happened the second time was bc the head gasket was slightly damaged after the first time but not enough to be noticible. It was leaking and burning coolant this whole time until it finally just went!!

well that's all good, but I am willing to bet money that your 25psi on pump gas in cold weather contributed to the failure.

you just got to remember that in cold weather (which you sometimes get in FL ) will let your engine build more boost than normal.

Im gona turn the boost down as soon as i get it. It was spiking to 24.5-25 sometimes but it was droping to 21-18psi quickly bc i have the stock pos bov still. Im so happy im getting it back. Ive been going out of my mind drvivng a galant for the last 2 weeks
