Talking Finally!!

I finally got my car back today after 3 weeks! It runs very good now. They got all new parts/headgasket on the car and rechecked compression/leakdown after it was fixed and all 4 cyl had the same pressure across the board . I hope it doesnt happen again, if it does, i will be saying goodbye to this Evo

Here' my thred from b4:

thats good to hear man, my car is out of commision at least till monday, i called the dealer, but the mitsu tech was gone for the day, but i told the service guys to make sure he does a compression/leakdown test, and i also noticed that one of my lifters started ticking, so i told them to take a look into that as well...and i'll have him take a look at the engine make sure everything is still fine...

Yea definitelty have them do it because i think the 2nd time it happened to me was bc the head gasket was damaged the 1st time the water pump failed, and with time it just gave out which caused the freeze plug to come out again since it was leaking this whole time.If the head gasket is damaged, have them check the motor and send the head out to get measured and cleaned at a machine shop, just to make sure its still at factory specs. I also heard the same ticking when the car was messed up, now its gone. They did a good job and hopefully it wont happen again.

Yep, youre probl leaking pressure from one of the cylinders. Did the car over heat when the water pump broke both times?

Do a leakdown test asap, so they can determine if theres more damage. Good luck
