I bought a used turbo off ebay that the seller claimed was a 2005. I got it today and the compressor says 9.8? The numbers on the hotside are 78-13010 115. The only reason i bought this was because i wanted a 10.5 hotside. Did i get screwed.

 

I got a 9.8 in my garage that I will check when I get off work.

on the turbo housing it would say 10.5...sounds like you got an 03 turbo

 

well, sounds like you wont be needing that turbo anymore. I will buy it from you if you dont want it since it sounds like someone got one over on you..

 

Yes, the exhaust housing should say 105 on it.

78-13010 115

and below is a 301

I emailed the seller and we settled the issue with a partial refund. On a sidenote if anyone is interested in the turbo pm me some offers as i have no use for it. It's in great shape and has 10k miles. thanks
