To take the stock plastic cover thingy off of the ball of your stock shifter, get a dremel and grind away a bit of it in the middle. The stock weight is small enough that with little dremeling, it will slide out. After this you can't even tell you did it because the weight is small enough that the plastic still functions like stock. I noticed no movement at all. Fits like a glove. Just saves some money and a trip to the mitsu dealer. Have fun! (oh and b&m rocks)
