I had a buschur downpipe before i bought the turbo kit. I know about the spacer thing. But the factory bolts that hold the lower bars are no where near long enough. Was wondering if anyone had found a lower tie bar that clears aftermarket downpipes no where close to how they should be.

it doesn't appear anything is warped at all....and for something to warp so much to make this thing fit so badly is questionable....it needs to turn a complete dif direction and and 3 angle changes on the piping.

We have been using this same dump tube for 3 years without a problem. So something in the jig got warped and needs to be changed. That is why we are sending out new dump tubes to those few people that had a problem.

RNR, what is your solution For lower tie bar fitment? Without the two inches of washers/ spacers?

My AMS downpipe didnt fit with the lower tie bar unless I put a couple washers on there to bring it down and a friend of mine has a different companies DP and it doesnt even work with the lower tie bar(not sure the brand) so its a common problem although I think the new version of the AMS downpipe may fit without washers although Im not sure on that.

I sold it awhile ago. I ended up having another downpipe modified in order to work w/ there kit. I still have the screwed up, never used RnR DP, since they decided they were not going to refund my money.

I was thinking of getting another downpipe fabbed up. And while im doing that change the turbine housing too. The ford 5 bolt is a bit restrictive. A 3in. 4 bolt would prolly work wonders. As to the lower tie bar thing, my alignment is whacked, and deffinitley dosent handle with the bars missing. JJ did you put the bars back on? How long of bolts and how many washers did it take if you did? Thanks

I modified another downpipe in order to clear the tie bars. I think I used a 1/4" spacer. I would never think of running my car w/ out the tie bars.
