So ive basically spent the past two nights reading all i can find about built 2.0 and 2.3s, im having to make a hard decision, im looking to get a motor built asap. so from what ive researched ive come to the conclusion that :

the 2.3+gt35r combo is a monster but is limited

whereas

the 2.0=gt37r combo will put out impressive number up top, but the lag will be deadly.

the 2.3+gt37r combo wont be that ideal because the turbo has alot of potential and power left over the 8500 rpm redline

*what ever setup i decide will have the AMS Race Head*
any other good combos youd recommend?

im so confused guys, i have no idea what i wanna do, it seems like the more i read the more confused i get. lol

my goals are to be over 650awhp on pump and meth, and to be streetable. Im not looking to be another 903 ams evo but be able to give a few of my buddies a run for their money. t67 mkiv, kb 03 cobra.

 

Hmmmm, I would say go with the gt37 or 35r with a built 2.0. I like to rev the crap out of the motor. I do believe when that dude was killing everyone in Florida, he had a 2.3 with a gt35 making like 630whp. I dont think you are going to get 600+ whp on pump and meth, you dont have a 2Jz. A friend of mine just made 733whp on 18psi pump gas on a supra. My .2 cents.
