agency power lower motor mount feedback
i,m thinking about putting in the agency lower mount on my IX. BR350#005. i,ve read the threads and did a search to get some feedback on these mounts and all my answers were pretty much answered . my main concern was vibration and daily driving feedback but everyone had just installed them and took it for a quick ride to check them out. i,m looking for someone who,s had them in for a while who can give me feedback on how they perform and mainely if there are any driving concerns (annoyance,s) with vibration or rattle. thanks!

btw please dont tell me that there is always a trade off for comfort when modifying. i,ve been doing this for over 30 years i know that you must, in most cases give up some comfort and nice smooth driving especially when its something that directely effects the driveline, i just wanted to know if its annoying to point of not being worth the mod for a daily driver. thanks again
go with the forge or Burschur mounts (after all you have a BR350 stick with his products) . I wouldnt put anything agency power on my car. I had an intake from them and a simple bracket sheared in half after a few thousand miles ( I no longer use it even though I remade the bracket). If they cant make that right....you get the picture.
i think the agency power mount was well worth the money and much easier to install than some of the other mounts since no pressing out/in of the bushings are neccessary. as far as vibration, it's very little but worth it for the end result IMO. as far as rattles, no more than usual. i was very pleased with this product, it's pretty new and i've had it on for about 2 weeks.

i didnt want to go with the buschur mounts because i heard that they cause a lot of vibration and they are a lot harder to get in. Obviousely nothig against buschur i think they are the very best EVO builders anywhere along with BIG AL AND THE CREW AT BUSHUR.(i,m not kissing ***). if you drove my BR350#005 you,d see what i mean.I probabably won,t do a mount i,m still deciding because this car is so SILKY SMOOOOTH QUICK i would really hate to do anything to cause any annoyences(vibration, rattle). i know you sometimes have to give up power for reliability and driveability and the other way around,(its the nature of the beast)but i want my cake and eat it to and if a different product works better for me meaning much less vibration and rattle i,m going to get it. i,m positive buschurs mounts are excellent but so far from what i read on this forum most people are choosing the agency mount. Thats why i hav,nt decided yet i,m still searching everyday on EVOM for info from people running both mounts plus a couple more brand names to read eveyones opinions so i can make an educated choice.I have a lower intercooler pipe on order with buschur now, i wouldn,t use any other power adder to this car other than buschur or dyno flash but something like a motor mount is cool. I,m sure Dave would even agree with me. Don,t know about BIG AL though.(LOL). sorry for the long post.
DO a search on the Forge mounts. Softer than the Burschur ones. There was a long thread on both of them. Any decent shop will be able to press out the old mount and install the new one for you if you just take the mounts to them. Drive your wifes car while for 1 hour while you do that.
Agency Power is owned by the same guys that own Vivid Racing. Do they ever take their cars to a track and do actual testing? No. Their threads ask you, then end user of the product to perform the testing for them. A high quality shop will conduct its own R&D before releasing a product which could fail to their customers (if it valued their business.)
Those mounts have only been out for a few weeks. Burshurs at least see track time on high HP vehicles and I feel are proven (no I do not use them)
When I went for parts, critical parts to control my stand-alone. Burshur got my business. I know it sounds like I am advocating them. My point is....go with reliable proven parts from a known shop. Stay away from a company that wants you to test their products on your ride. What if that mount shears and breaks like my Agency Bracket did? All that was holding was an air filter. Now you are asking an Agency Power bracket to hold your engine?

I have the agency power lower motor mount. It took about an hour to install which was pretty straight forward. There is a slight vibration at idle but not too bad. While driving it is really not noticeable except for a low rumble during WOT. I would recommend this mount. Even though there is a little extra vibration like any mod you can't get something for nothing. The improvement in the shifting action alone seems worth it.
