Mines VX-ROM
Mines VX-ROM
I have just taken delivery of a Mines VX-ROM for my GT-A from Shin. I am also using a Apexi AVC-R currently set at 1.25 bar
Shin has told me to limit the boost to 1.2, as the instructions are all in Japanese I was hoping someone here could help me with some of their experiences of this unit and its setup.

I understand the VX ROM is a replacement ECU and thus doesnt need any adjustment?
The Ralliart ECU for street is mapped to be run with 1.3 bars boost; I'd guess the Mine's is the same.
To start with, I'd suggest you install the ECU and measure the fuelling on a dyno (or elsewhere) with a wideband O2. If the fuelling is ok, increase boost to 1.3 and check again.

Thanks Claudius
Yes it is a Mitsu ROM that has been reprogrammed to delimit, it also raises the redline to 8K (although I don't think I will be pushing that)
I am taking the car to DP Motorsport, who originally installed the Apexi stuff so they can check the fuelling etc and set everything up correctly.
I know a couple of members here run VX-ROM's and I would be interested in anyones experience with it.
