Rod failures and Test drives?

I have a theory, it takes about 10 min for the oil temp to be in the safe range. Most test drives take place without proper water temp!. So imagine cold thick oil that cannot flow moving thru the bottom end and then a high load (rev) is placed on that bearing surface. The result will not be noticed until miles down the road when your EVO throws a ROD!

Please help me prove or disprove this Theory.

Sure I guess anything is possible.

When I test drove my MR, the sales rep warmed it up for 15 mins before we drove it.
