Wastegate Problems

Ok i just installed a custom turbo kit this week with a 50 trim garrett turbo on a DNP manifold. The car seems to be running great but i cant seem to get the wastegate to open up, or not all the way anyhow. Its 40mm and its set up to dump into the air. I have the side nipple hooked up to my intake manifold and the top nipple is hooked up to the boost controller. Have i hooked it up wrong or is there anything i could have forgot to do as far as installing the wastegate goes. I thought other than the lines the install should be straight forward. I switched the lines just to see what happens and when i did that the wastegate opened at idle some.

Does it use a deltagate? If so, theres your problem.. j/k either the spring is too stiff, the WG is not opening freely (common), or you are using an incorrect vacum scource..
