Your best bet is to call Clutch Masters at (909)877-6800 and see if they can help diagnose the problem. My thoughts: If you have adjusted it as far as you can without preloading the cylinder and it still doesn't work, the next thing to check is that the release bearing is clicked in all the way which makes it crooked on the pressure plate. If it is crooked it will not only take excess travel to operate, but it will cause the center peices of the pressure plate to fail and fall off. You may also be noticing a vibration through the pedal if this is the problem.

I've seen this problem on a couple of those clutches (including my own)... ClutchMasters is little to no help as their standard answer is "pull the clutch out and send it in"... Well, they seem to be good about replacing units, but that doesn't help customers with shipping, labor, or even worse their time if they do the work themselves.

Did you check the clutch rod yourself, or are you just relying on what those guys tell you? It's a very easy thing to do yourself, so I suggest going to Evomoto.com, reading the how-to write-up, then go check it yourself. If your clutch rod is not almost on its last thread, then you still have room to adjust it. What you're describing is a pretty classic example of the clutch rod not being adjusted out enough. It even happened on my ACT at one point before re-adjusting it.
