wartalonish tune....bushur/dynoflash

Well i (like many many on this site) are following wartalon's upgrade path. Especially now that he has the packages....tbe, intake, boost control, recirc, fuel pump (viii). However ive already bought most of the parts.

Here is the question....why should i send my ECU to flash for 375 when i can get it done by dynoflash for 232 considering they are both by Al?

It's not any different - stop exaggerating.

I just have an official package that Buschur sells. Before the package, people were following the same upgrade path, but were having to put it together themselves.

The Buschur based tunes are not the same as my tunes

Considering that David has 15 years DSM experience I would say that his work is worth a slight premium - all of his tunes are made on his dyno and take days and days before they meet his standards

I thought Dave didn't flash ECUs... Does the WT package include an AEM?

No aem included in these packages. A Buschur Flash is what is used for tuning. The flash that is with our stages and the wt packages are specific for our parts.

I don't do flashes, and Dave doesn't do flashes. Al does all the flashes, but the ones that are specific to the Buschur packages have a ton of R&D with many hours of dyno time.

Ok, not splitting hairs here.... and I understand why the price for the Warrtalon/Buschur flashes are more money (more R&D, etc.) but if someone were to buy all the parts that are in the warrtalon package individually, and then call up Al for a mail in tune (do what Al asks for in listing all the parts installed), what would he get? I mean, not everyone has money to buy all the parts at once (yes I know the packages are relatively cheap but I know plenty of Evo owners that can't dorp $1300-$1600 at once).

Then they get a base flash made for that combination of mods, but not the Buschur flash file. Since they wouldn't get free shipping on all the piece-meal parts, then in the end, they'd pay about the same combined amount but not get the Buschur flash. For some, this is necessary due to reasons you stated - not everyone has the whole amount available up front.
