Do they even have one? They have one for DSMs, but I don't see one for the Evo on their website.

Btw, those first 2 links require being a registered user.

WE've never heard of them. Where are you hearing it's good? Hopefully, it doesn't cost more than $195, because that's how much it costs to port and coat your stock manifold, and most tubular manifolds don't make as much power.

We plan on dynoing the next evo we do, which should be very soon.
If for some reason it decreases torque across the curve, we will definatly make a new prototype...

Take a ported stock manifold and do back-to-back comparisons each time you dyno, because so far, we haven't found an affordable one that can compare...

Can you show me your definition of a ported stock manifold? Maybe a link with some pictures?

The owner of this manifold, and a few more of the local evo guys reported good results with this, but I know thats not good enough...

I do have access to an R&D engine dyno, however I don't own a evo8/9 so until someone wants some serious engine work, I won't be able to use it.

Can that manifold support the weight of a Turbo without cracking?

My definition of a ported stock manifold? It's all over the place here and is probably our most common method. We get to retain the stock cast manifold with no fear of cracking, we spend less, we reduce underhood temps (coating), and make as much power as tubular headers.

There's lots and lots of pics and writeups all around. You can find my pics by looking up the threads I've started.

We use 3mm, .121" 304SS wall tubing, its sturdy enough to support the weight of a turbo, and helps prevents cracking. We've never had a manifold break, and we've been turbocharging since the early 70s. Its also easy enough to build brackets from the engine to the compressor section just like the oem unit for other turbos.

P.S. The temporary website is going to be updated this weekend with more evo stuff...

That would be me; it definitely pulls harder in the mid-higher RPM band. No cracks/leaks/boo-boos of any kind yet. If It does, he'd be seeing me soon.

Welds are super-clean, flanges are thick, bolts right up w/o any fitment issues, and it's purdy!

I still have the dyno sheets that we ran prior to the manifold install. If it's an AWD dyno you have access to, let me know so we can take the IX out for the "after" pulls...results to be posted.
