So I completely tore out my rear o2 sensor and its completely ruined. And a new one costs 300+, so is it possible to splice in a o2 sim, and the tap the temperature reading from the front o2 sensor into the ECU?

If anyone else has some suggestion it'd be great too thanks

 

Get a new one from www.oxygensensors.com 92.50 for the with the clip (03) I bought that and had to cut the clip off solder the 05 one on. The cheaper one is like 59.90 and free shipping too. If you run with out a rear O2 it will give you a SES and if your o2 sensor is all damaged a o2 sim most likely will not help.

 

If you don't replace it you'll throw a cel. Otherwise the car should run normal. I believe the first 02 is for tuning, the 2nd is for emissions.
