HKS RS intake causes SES light?

Ok the only mod's i have is downpipe and the intake, so anyone know why after i installed the intake i throws a SES light?, I test drove the car and nothing feels different besides the way it sounds and maybe a little bit less lag on spool up. I just want to know if everyone throws SES light after installing just an intake? and what should i do? flash??

so anyone know why after i installed the intake i throws a SES light?

No... that's forbiden knowledge.

Get an ECU flash. The ECU is getting an erratic reading from the intake. BTW there are literally hundreds of threads and FAQs on this.

dude, you'll get no sympathy or help from this forum with a comment like that. Not bashing, just trying to give you a heads up. If you're too tired, why would anyone go out of their way to help? Hell, we're all tired.....

You suk at searching. This topic was probably 80% of the forums content from 03-04.

ok, i'm feeling nice.... you have a dp and an intake, right? First, those are crappy mods if you're looking for power. Second, you are right, no one in Houston, or Texas, or even close will flash your ECU.

It's called mail in flash..... novel concept. Now search for mail in flashes, you might get a hit or two.

aside from the intake, you are correct, those are good first mods once all your parts get there. Plenty of vendors (not in Texas) offer mail in flashes, and they will have a base map that will fit your mods well.
