Evo 9 turbo swap questions

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was told this turbo has a bigger hotside and coldside then the 03-04 turbos and the 05 turbos, and being twin scroll should spool like nothing. Would it be possible to rig this up on a 2g awd with a 6 bolt being that its still a TD05 16g? Anyone?

The cold side is bigger than the 05 turbos, but Im not exactly sure how much bigger in terms of measurement. The IX turbo uses a 10.5 hotside as does the 05 i believe. It should be possible to use it on a 2g as long as the manifold works with the turbo and there are the correct lines for connecting to the turbo. if anyone has more insight to this that would be good.

The hotside is the same 10.5, the housing (or cold side) is larger than the 05 turbo.

you cannot use it on a 2g dsm for multiple reasons, one beaing manifold is different, turbo faces opposite direction, etc...
