Help Can not get the output shafts out of the tcase!
Well Im installing a new clutch and flywheel and im stuck. I have everything ready to pull the tcase and trans out but I can not remove the pass and driver side output shaft.. If used a chain prybars a rigged up slide hammer.. nothing wont budge even a little.
car has 72k on it. no whines from tcase ever besides a 1st gear wine which the car always had.
Anyideas?

Or you can do the backyard mech way. Get a length of chain, thread the bolt into the shaft, wrap the other end of the chain around a 20lb dumbbell (secure it with a bolt or something thru the links) and yank.
This is how I got mine out. No slide hammer.

I tried threading a bolt in and prying on it but nothing. Then I brought my slide hammer home from work and few medium taps and it came right out. The right tools make sooo much difference.
