couple nitrous questions.

hey everybody, i just got my evo9 about 3 weeks ago. i already have an o2 housing (ebay) and 3 in turbo back (ebay also) and MBC. i have a wet nitrous kit from my other car (a mustang) and im wanting to put it on the evo, i am only planning on running a 35 maybe 50 shot. my questions are, would i install the nozzle before the turbo or before the TB? and would it be safe to run 20 PSI with the niitrous on 91 octane? the kit is a zex kit also. any imput would be great.

I have done nitrous on just about every car, never with the zex kit though. You want the nitrous fogger about 6-18 inches from the throttle body, for a turbo car i have had some pretty good results about 12 inches away. Long enough to cool the charge, and short enough so it doesnt pool in the intake manifold. I am not sure how the zex controls the individual fuel or nitrous though. In 2002 My built 2.0 subaru had a wet 50 shot with a .022 fuel, and .038 nitrous, but when i went to my stroked EJ22 motor and tuned it, the motor liked the .024 fuel and .038 nitrous better.

I will be spraying my car this coming week, starting witha 35 shot and working my way up, will see what I can take...I would definitely run atleast a mixture of race gas and pump if you are doing anything bigger than a 50 shot...

only planning on doing a 35 or 50. the ZEX kit has the solenoids in a control box that has a FP sensor so if fuel pressure drops it stops spraying, and it also senses bottle pressure and adjusts flow as nessasary. its a safe kit, but the hit isnt near as hard as an NX kit.
