So....hot afternoon, cool evening

what causes the evo to run like crap in the hot afternoon and runs good in the nights?

hot air = less dense air charge = lower oxygen = running rich.....? and what else?

this car is stock from front to back......and running on 93 gas....

alky/water is great for supressing knock.......i'm running stock boost, knock can be ruled out....?
