It seems a copy of the Kansai air box.
It won't give a fly's fart worth of power per se, but you can mount an HKS mushroom induction kit in it and have it breathe fresh air from the scoop and the radiator window, as it has only three sides, mainly to keep off hot engine compartment air and let the mushroom induction kit breathe fresh air.
And THAT may give you some horsepower. Or at least will reduce lag and let the engine breathe better at higher revs.
Moreover it will look stock, unless obviously somebody opens it. I don't know how regulations are there in the USA, but here in Italy you can get your car confiscated and you driving licence suspended if you change the intake (or anything worth changing, for what matters).
You can have your car back only after it's been brough back to original and omologated again, which can cost you as high as 3000 bucks

No, like was said before, its a copy of the monster sport lid. Its just the top lid with the ram air scoop. You cant fit a cone filter in there, its designed for a drop in filter or stock filter, whichever. I doubt it includes the bottom portion of the box. The Kansai box is different, that is the one that you HAVE to use a cone filter (or mushroom) in. Im just fine with my stock box with works filter.
