it seems like most people get about 20-40k out of a stock clutch.....now what i want to know is with the same driving habbits, how many miles are people getting out of the common aftermarket clutches like ACT, Exedy ect.?

39K so far with zero launches and mostly freeway driving. It still feels brand new. I think I may be able to squeeze 80-100K miles out of it. But then again, I'm way easy on it.

26k+ w/ one track day and half a dozen dragway nights.
Regular driving, very easy on the clutch.

Starting to slip and grind in multiple gears.

Current mods also exceed HP constraints of the stock clutch.

That is a good question, looking at upgrading the clutch to an Exedy organic or ACT I'd like to see how those hold up with the same abuse and light Mods.

Just hit 26K with about 285 WHP on a DD Dyno. No crazy launches...mostly hwy and light street miles (track days soon). Still feels like new, I agree with the others...its not really the clutch...its the driver.

9k miles = dead clutch for me... That's with ALOT of really steep uphill driving (I live around San Francisco which has alot of steep hills so you have to slip the clutch a bit to start in 1st) and TWO stick shift teaching days (each about 1-2 hours long) with the girlfriend which included ALOT of clutch roasting and glazing.

Exedy HD Twin Plate HERE I COME!!!
