RMR Intake?

still unsure about which intake to get. I got to see a Buschur intake in person, I have to say that I was a little surpised on how small it is, but for 80 bones, it a good deal. So anyone knows if the RMR intake is bigger? it would be great if someone who installed it post a engine bay pic of it.

I think its pretty typical in size.. Even though it seems small, there's obviously more filter surface area than the stock filter, and who knows what other restrictions are caused by the shape of the box (If any at all) I saw on another thread that someone experienced a loss in power.. But he may be referring to the standard K&N universal cone filter, and not the Buscher product.. I can see that sizing is important, and the distance from the insides of the cone and the mesh on the MAF sensor can be important, anything that can cause alot of turbulence, or any oddity can affect flow at lower RPM, could hurt horsepower or confuse the sensor, or both..

It seems that you want the air to go as straight as possible through the sensor with as little obstructions and turbulence.. I've seen about a dozen different types of K&N Cones, and It would definitely appear to me that careful selection would be necessary.. Too big, it may not fit.. Too small and it may be a restriction, wrong shape, and it may affect airflow.. Go figure..
