gearbox oil gl-4 75w-90 75w-85 or straight 90!

as the title says this are the weights of the oil recommended by the owners manual. i recently figured out that the bgII syncroshift oil was 75w-80 will running an 80 up top affect anything??

Run 75W-85 if you have a 6 speed. Not sure what the 5 speed requirements are.
