Ideal tire pressure for launching??

I was just wondering what tire pressures you guys use to get off the line as quick as possible? I know that I will get the usual hate mail about the EVO not being a drag race vehichle, but I just want to know what settings you guys use to get those 1.700 60ft times.

I want to hear from the guys who have 1.7, 60 ft times.Froi
AWD PSI????????????? Front and rear?

I usually max the tire pressure out because this will give the smallest tire contact patch yet it will provide a larger overall tire, but not to worry about that. $2-44 psi is actually too high, I was getting wheel hope when launching at the psi. It's a combination of how you launch ur car and what psi u have in the tires. Also depends on the weight of the car, if you are completely stock and floor the car right before the lights then dump the clutch at a very high rpm then ur ganan want around 35-38psi. If you slip the clutch try 40+ psi and see what happens. Best things is go to the track max the tires out and go from there, change ur psi level 5 lbs between each run and use the same launch.
