Curious as to how much boost the JDM Evo IX DV can hold.

I just swapped out my TurboSmart DV to the JDM MR DV and to tell you the truth I like it much better. I lost the whoosh sound - lol - but the fluttering is gone and my shifts seem to be much smoother with regards to the transition to going back on throttle.

The forge RS flutters big time on any kind of trottle release, I have it and hate it. Im going to change it soon.

Are you sure you have the RS? The old forge DV fluttered big time but the new RS doesn't flutter at all if you have it adjusted properly.

APS is also a good choice along with the Forge RS. Check out my review here. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=218805

Kapolani, the JDM MR DV, which is an awesome piece, is efficient up to 24-25psi, which is when it begins to open.

That's good. I think Martin said it's the Evo IX DV. It was from a car that they installed the Forge unit in. We swapped out my TurboSmart one with this one to see if the TS one was leaking boost.

I like this one better. Should have gotten this one in the first place!
