Shifter/Slave cylinder mod **WOW**

Last week I installed the Authority Shifter with the Speed sorce bushings. Last nigh I removed the clutch line restrictor. We also added the Stainless clutch release rod. Then adjusted the clutch peadal. The car shifts way better, night and day. Also when launching the clutch does not slip as bad. The shifts are nice and shooth. I would reccomend this mod to anyone . Going to the track tonight to see what she can do. The only power mod is a K&N Drop in filter. Car has 1450 miles

must be nice to be able to go to track...raining like hell here.

And yes removing the restrictor and adding stainless line helps dramatically, I'll second that

The problem w/ doing so many mods at the same time is that you don't know which mod was the biggest contributor to the improvement. I've done all those mods one at a time except a short shifter and I found removing the restrictor to make the biggest difference.

I did the shifter a week ago, helped on shifting. I did the restrictor last night along with a stainless ROD, no the line. The restrictor made the biggest diffrence. The car shifts way smoother, it seems like the clutch disengages fully for better shifts.

Ditto on the restrictor making a big difference. Am I alone in seeing no need for a short shifter?

How do you eliminate the restrictor? I had my ACT clutch with SS line installed by Turbotrix... is the restrictor in there still?

I would say you dont really need it. I would at lease do the bushings under hood and shifter base. However shorter is faster. I like my short throw.

Soon2BEVO,
It may be in thier. Call TT and ask them if the did.
