next month I am getting a flash.
I curently have a catback and downpipe(not installed yet), but wanted to find a decent hiflow cat.

Whic one would you recommend for a decent price?

Look at Helix, HKS, SARD, Apexi. Be sure to buy the metallic ones.

You need to know the cpsi values. The lower the better.

Stock cat is around 400~500 cpsi (2,5")
RandomTech is around 300cpsi (metal version) (2,5 or 3")
SARD 175cpsi (2,75")
HKS 150cpsi (2,75")
Apexi 130cpsi (3")
helix (?) (3")

Now my other question is...is it a pain in the @$$ to remove the rear o2 sensor?

Yes it is, only way is geting a good angle and force that thing out

I'd say the most important thing is that you get a good flowing cat with a METAL core. I'd advise against any of the ceramic units for our application.

what do you guys think about the ultimat racing hfc?

I just ordered one.

 

I like it, ran it on both my Evos and was only around 8hp less then a car with equal mods on the same dyno. I have no complaints about it.
