Gutting - For reference, I take out my spare and rear seats when I drag. Rule of thumb is 100 lbs lost = .1 in the 1/4...so it takes a lot of part removal to get that.
It is definatly possible, especially in a IX. Forget for a second that its 11.7. Even if its 11.9 which more common, is hella fast for basically a stock car. taking into consideration that EVO IX with just flashed ECU's are making around 290whp. Kind of a tough fact to swallow when dudes with BIG modded V8's are doing the similar damage give or take
