Any idea on how this would perform on a 2.0 with a 50 trim?

Sooooo basically if you push the button before you step on the gas that is what happens vs the first run which shows that the gas was depressed then the log button was pressed. just a sampling deal. no biggy nothing to do with power.

as far as a 50 trim goes they will work great up top. make more power than 272's. they are going to suffer some under 4k rpms nothing crazy tho and anyone running 280's already wont notice the bottom just the topend.

On at 2.0 with a 50 trim, what will idle quality be like if I'm using a stock ECU with UTEC?

That is the question that will keep a lot of stock ecu folks from trying these. Until a test is done with these on the stock ecu, I wouldn't take the chance on these or any other aggressive cams.

No I spent a lot of time brainstorming with him on chasing down a phantom knock problem that happens at 15% throttle and cruising.

He tried everything from going back to stock manifold for a day (pictured) to switching dowel holes and 0/0. He finally just pulled the head to inspect the HG and it was fine also. Frustrated to say the least.

I asked the same question when I saw that pic. LOL
