Post HKS has new stuff for 4G63

Funny thing, I haven't been to the HKS japan site in months and I was on the Japanese site this morning and HKS is coming out with a new EVC that integrates the Display with the Control box, and they incorperated a dial instead of those really small buttons. Also they finally came out with a 2.3L stroker kit, I cant read japanese so I don't know the details of the kit. Also they have the IX cams out now, again can't read japanese so I don't know anything about it.

Good to know companies are still developing part for our cars.

Yeah Mustang dynos read lower and a IX with with a tbe and tune gets about the same as an VIII with the same parts plus cams. There was a guy with a IX that was being tuned in front of me that day and he baselined 223whp on that dyno and then ended up with like 280whp. He had a tanabe tbe and instead of using the test pipe that came with the exhaust he used the stock cat.

Yeah my VIII has turbo envy and mivec envy when it comes to IX's. That's the reason I want to get some info on these IX cams from HKS, they just came out like 2 or 3 days ago. I would love to see what IX's make with cams, between these and the Cosworth's cams, IX owners should be very enthusiastic about the potential power their cars might make.

It's at the bottom. There is a button when you scroll to the bottom and it takes you to another page but I don't know what the heck it says. It is probably just a product discription, but who knows.

* Merit
- It makes the control which utilizes genuine variable valve mechanism in full possible, low it is possible to revolution - the high rotary limits to assure the improvement of output. In case of GDB, vis-a-vis the vehicle whose year system is old especially it is effective.
- As for GDB in regard to control the frequency of wiring becomes many, when direct attachment it does, wiring processing of 18 place with necessary. With respect to job propensity when installing and in order to prevent the early trouble due to wiring mistake the private ECU connected harness has become attachment. In addition, pressure indication (only the large map) made possible, from the fact that when the pressure sensor is used for the map Y-axis is many, indication on the power lighter/writer in addition to former voltage, (as for indication of the controller only voltage).
* Function
- Control of genuine valve timing separately from normal ECU, controlling valve timing optionally with three dimensional map by the engine rpm speed axis and the air flow output voltage axis.
- It outputs to real time the control state of valve timing as the one for data logger.
- It changes to the valve timing control with normal ECU by the fact that it turns to power OFF. (In case of run sir, as for the normal control return which is in the midst of travelling failure)
- At the time of ignition OFF removing the battery of course, as for setting it is remembered.
- Val tie indicatory OFFSET value, semi automatic adjustment.
- The latest angular control with throttle opening condition is possible.
- As for wiring other than power source grounding installation with all coupler ON.
- Power lighter/writer store private commodity.
