bushur racing tbe problems

i just installed the bushur racing 3" tbe with hfc and bullit muffler, it runs great but the cel just popped after 45 or so miles of driving. is this consistent with the whole " if the cel isn't on your car isn't modded" theory or should i be worried

you threw a CEL, weird. because the BR TBE comes with a mechanical fix. I went with the test pipe/ bullet muffler combo. I do have their TBE and I havent thrown a CEL. Pull out your O2 sensor and reinstall it. Make sure you get it perpendicular as possible and reset your ECU.

dont think so, then they you would have thrown the cel with the stock exhaust. Pull out the o2 sensor and reinstall it, and reset your ecu. Like I stated make sure you get it straight as possible, you don't want it at an angle.

you dont need to replace your o2, take it out clean it, then get anti fouler and space it out. look in the "how to" forums should be something like "o2 cheat for 5 bucks" very easy to install.

Tien he doesn't need an anit fouler, Buschur already has a mechanical fix on the cat back section welded on.

you do want a slight angle. Its supposed to be pointing down so condensation can drip off. At least thats what I remember reading a long time ago. Its been a few years since I installed my exhaust system.

Did you check to see what the code actually was?

What I was asking is did you actually pull the code from the ECU to make sure thats what it was.

Did you purchase this brand new from us? It should have came with a mechanical CEL fix if it did. Please let me know if you did not recieve this.

Thanks

It is a small billet bung that threads into the 02 sensor hole and then the 02 sensor threads into that.
