Stock PSI on a 2006 IX ?

any idea how much horsepower it outputs on 19psi ?? and on 11 psi??

so installing a mbc with stock set up where should i set the psi to on 06mr?20 psi?

Not tuned. If i just wanted to put a manual boost controler in thats it. no other mods

I would recommend a reflash with the MBC.

The higher you turn up the boost, the lower the ignition timing will be so you would be hard pressed to gain any power on the stock flash.

Furthermore there is a relatively low boost cut programmed in the ECU that will prevent you turning it up over a certain amount.

Really not the best plan for performance.

it will still pose a problem even at stock boost levels? NOt turning it up.

VERY well said. If you're looking for just a MBC, you're mistaken. That alone will hurt more than help. If this is the only route you want to take, which is your choice, go with the MBC, a tune, and a fuel pump for good measure. You will also need a boost gauge to tune your boost levels, but I've been told by AL at DynoFlash that 22.5 PSI is the recommended max boost level on 93 octane to maintain a safety factor. Al knows his stuff.

Ok thanks. So don't put a manual boost contoller in unless u have a flash because u'll loose hp at stock boost levels.
