Tranny question

I got my clutch replaced about 3 months ago. A couple of weeks later I began having an intermitent problem with lockout at start up, I would have to put the car into 3rd before I could back it out of the driveway(3rd is the only gear I can get it into when it locks up), after that it is fine. It is only after I start the car after sitting for several hours in the driveway trying to go into reverse. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I should add no problems until I replaced my clutch. Clutchmasters stage 1 with Clutchmasters flywheel. Done by Vivid Racing here in AZ.

Irony you just happened to mention vivid racing

Back on topic:

I'd check to see if your clutch pedal needs adjustment. It may just be that its not totally disengaging the clutch.

Just my .02

call vivid and let them know about your problem that you started having after they installed your new clutch...they should fix it for free since it might be something wrong with their install
