question on where to find a specific exhaust...

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I couldnt find an exhaust forum.

I just got an evo IX SE and I wanted to do the exhuast system, both dp and cat back. What do you guys recommend for the dp? As for the cat back, i want the most ridiculous looking large exhaust possible. Anything with glowing LEDs or something that has a spark emitter to shoot flames? Any ideas?

I was wowing the LEDs and stuff... that's funny crap right there.

HKS is good. It tapers down to less than 3 in to meet up with the cat. There are cheaper exhausts out there also.

3.5" exhaust. it's OVERKILL if you dont have a turbo kit and are pushing 600+ hp because you dont need that much flow on anything weaker than 600+

oh, and you're going to be scraping everywhere and the DP might have fitting issues since it's 3.5"...it the dp does rub/hit go with a 3" dp

if you want 3" exhaust...get RSR GT-II or Greddy TI (both are excellent and sound nice...the RSR quite louder than greddy)

Now thats what I am talking about! I hope to have over 600 HP. I never thought about the rubbing issue...hmmm. Maybe 3" is good enough. Ill have to go out measure the clearance. Then again, scraping would cause sparks to shoot out!

yea and ruin your exhaust

but for 3" exhaust i recomment the Greddyor RSR GT-II

you can always risk an expensive emissions ticket and get a 3" DP and get custom straight 3" (or whatever size you want) at a muffler shop. so you dont have a cat or muffler. that's a big ticket...like 2000+ maybe. and its going to be loud
