trouble with Apexi WS2 Cat Back and Espelir Down pipe

They are not a good combo. After installing the two pipes, the Espelir DP is resting on the second crossed bar (the short one, not the one near the ACD). It makes rubbing noise when the car is moving on the bumps or at freeway speed. Do you guys have any idear? what to do? Using the spacer or other washers did not help. Thanks

So you are running without one of the crossed bars on the bottom? Is it safe to do that? I was thinking of removing it too.

I just bought some clamps to tie down the dp and the cross bar and hope they don't rattle any more. If they still rub and rattle then I will try to take donw the bar. Thanks for your response jjm4life. Any one else have the same issue?

I'm running a JGT500 w/ Espelir downpipe and just recently had the same rattle problem. I was thinking the other day that I could just buy some Dynamat and put a small piece between the pipe and the cross bar to keep it from rattling.

i have the Espelir DP and catback. You can use washers to space it out a bit and it will rattle very rarely or get the Rhys Millen underbrace for very cheap.

I fixed the problem by using two clamps to help hold the DP up (therefore cleared the crossed bar). The rubber hangers are too weak to do the job. The metal clamps go around the rubber hangers. I have about 1/4 of an inch of clareance now. Thanks for your help guys
