is clutch on its way out?

stock IX clutch with 8k on it. When driving in any gear and you give it gas (in boost) it slips for a split second then grabs alright. From a stop you can launch it hard with a slight slip even off the stock 2 step and it grabs in every gear with no slipping. Its only when cruising and you give it gas does it slip for a split second then grabs fine. You think i need an adjustment or am i looking at a clutch thats on its way out? It seems to feel fine on take off and it engages at the same point like always.

Clutch is beginning to slip...it's right around 3000 rpm right? Right when you get your initial torque hit?

Get on a slight incline. Get going and put it in 4th gear - low rpm.

Now floor it. The car should bog a little then get going. If the rpm's shoot up and no movement then your clutch is slipping.

It doesn't sound like that's the problem though because you can launch and the clutch grabs.

How about a 5th gear pull? Does it slip here? Any difference when the clutch is cold or warm?

Where does it feel like the clutch is engaging in accordance with your pedal position? Closer to middle, top, or bottom?

It engages closer to the middle like always, but it kinda feels dead after engagement where as i use to have the pedal come up some more after it started to engage. Now when it engages the pedal travel is gone. It slips hot or cold and in every gear when cruising. If i give it gas,(doesnt have to be wot) at about 3k it slips for a second then grabs like normal. I just came back from the store and launched it twice back to back going thru the gears with no slipping at all. Its only when just driving and you gas it.

Yep, clutch is gone. It should grab on a launch and when rapping through the gears, because you're never at peak torque. It slips when rolling into boost at low rpm, because that's when you have the most load at peak torque.

Thanks Clay thats what i figured, just wanted to make sure. Time to consider what i,ll be putting in there now. I had the excedy twin (non HD) in my 03 and it was alright. The decel noise drove me a little crazy. But after a good 500 mile break-in it performed pretty good. It took a little while to get used to it also. (take off,etc.). I havnt heard of anyone using a centerforce clutch on evom yet. I know the DF (dual friction) is an excellent clutch as i,ve had one in my 63 dodge 440 for close to ten years now and it is an amazing unit. I,m making well over 500 ft.lbs. of tq. in that car and the clutch has never missed a beat.Easy clutch pedal and super smooth engagement. I have to look into it and some other clutches also.
