JUN B.L. Exhaust Review

I got up at 5 am this morning because I was so excited to install the exhaust. I got the exhaust $560 shipped from Chad from JUN B.L. very great guy and patient with me.

Ok, anyway, the install was pretty straight forward.. The only hard part was removing the stock exhaust because of the bolts and grommets. The exhaust fitment is superb, it looks great and sounds great as well. The only problem that I faced was the car not starting... It turned out to be a blown fuse because I didn't disconnect the negative battery terminal

The sound is quite a bit louder than stock.. Loud as in it has a "umph" in the exhaust note at idle. At 3000k standing rev, it sounds real mean and deep. Inside the car cruising is easily tolerable, you can have a conversation with your passenger without yelling. At boost, it's quite loud in my opinion, but still not loud enough that you can't have a conversation with your passenger even during boost.

Overall...
Fitments: 10/10
Sound: 10/10
Price: 9/10
Quality: 10/10

I highly recommend that you buy from Chad He's a great guy to deal with.

mister thura, what does it come with? Will it give you more HP? Is the sound more throtty? Why did you have a blown fuse?

Hey I have it on my IX and LOVE it, sounds soo good. If your looking to get one, get it from SlickMotorSports got it for $500 with the V-band clamps. Great exhaust! Very throtty noise, is even better with a DP and no cat! And I didnt have to disconnect the battery, just unbolted old and put on new. Tip when you get the V-bands on snug them on so you can twist the exhaust so it fits and looks perfect.

Unless you are messing with anything electrical then you never have to disconnect the terminal. The exhaust did not cause that.

You should check out the junbl website. Congrats on the exhaust, but I just wouldn't run an exhaust produced by a korean guy (which he named the company after) who also produces knitted shirts, makeup cases, and wallets in the same facilities.

Well, Mitsubishi makes alarm clocks, tvs, and lawn mowers and you bought an EVO right? Do you have any evidence that the exhaust is faulty or does not perform well? I feel the same way about mass produced ebay exhausts from china but a lot of people have positive things to say about them. I mean, in reality it is just a piece of 3 in. tubing with a muffler. The welds look pretty nice, it has v band clamps, and as long as it sounds nice I'm sure it will perform just like any other exhaust.

I have this exhaust on my car and love it! Had no installation issues. Exhaust note is exactly what I was lookin for " Beefy " but not get you in trouble loud. Im runnin a DP w/ the stock cat and love the exhaust note. I would imagine it "approaching" too loud w/ a test pipe
Fitment is 10/10. I was considering purchasing a CF heat shield, but this exhaust sits perfect in the bumper. I have had it for approx. 1 year and no issues w/ the paint.
It was a lil bit pricey, but well worth it! I would definitely recommend this exhaust!

Yes, it does fit with the stock cat. I have installed a few of these (as well as I have on on my car) and haven't seen any clearance issues with the driveshaft.
