Does anyone know if all the authority short shifters come with the shifter retainer? I have been searching some old threads that said lancershop used to sell a kit w/ the shifter that comes with the knob, and both bushing kits, and an oem shifter retainer. Well I don't see that package on thier website anymore, but I do see that the authority one comes with a shift knob. Is the retainer included? Thanks.

 

im not sure, but i'd say NO.... most of them dont have the retainer...but you can get it from the dealership or lancershop sells it separately. worst case, buy it from lancershop and sell it on here if its not needed. also, check mitsubishiparts.net for the retainer

 

i just bought it last week from lancershop. it is not included but they have them seperaterly. I plan to install mine tomorrow. i also got the 8 pc. bushing set.
