every bit of over 10k miles. hard miles, lots of track passes. I find/found it hard to keep off the rev limiter, I think thats what the major problem was. especially since it appears my clutch had begun to slip.

built 2.0 o-ringed and such, built head, diff clutch..my act street setup doesen't have much left.

Sadly its not like I make lots of money, and the money I do make goes to the damn car, so it will take me a few months to get it arranged.

I'm thinking Crower rods, wiesco pistons, 1mm over valves and supertech valvetrain, with jun camshafts(the hks280's have some slight score marks from the rocker arms jumping off, and I'm wary of them.).

Well, can't say you didn't see it comming... I plan on a very similar setup, so hopefully if i don't drive it as hard (as you may have) i can get a few more miles out of it. I'm shooting for 30k or so... Hopefully.

Ouch sorry for the loss but hopefully moving onto bigger/better engine setup will make this not such a big deal in time.

what were you revving the car to for those 1/4 mile passes? And were you making that 441 on 91 octane..?? If so dont you think thats a bit agressive? (without any meth)

Hope the build up of the new block goes well!

revs killed the engine and pushing that sort of power on stock rods...man, you gotta expect it to happen one day...
