Wow, I just had an odd sense of Dejavue (I think that is how it is spelled) I have seen an Evo block do the excat same failure, even the same cylinder and almost excat same holes in the block. I couldnt really find the cause, but the best answer was that during the build, one of the factory rods had slighty bent, where it couldnt be seen with the naked eye. The engine was opened to replace #4 pistion for a failed ring land. oh well, chaulk that one up to trying to get out cheaply.

You guys have all been fooled, this isn't a 540whp blow out... this is what happens when you use 87 octane.

were you on your pump tune when this happened??? meth tune?? what rpm boost ect??? just curious because i made almost 500whp last year & i was going to put rod bolts in this year & try to make around 550 or so on the stock block

was on full out. meth @ 30 psi 7800-8k rpm when it let go.
