at 5k rpms i got a loud pop and a cloud of white smoke shoot out the hoodvent, only happened once and the smoke was just right after the pop and there wasnt anymore of it. just wanted to see if anyone knew exactly wut it was. there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the car, its driving the same and hasnt happened again. i'll check under the hood tomorrow cause its too dark now

I had the same thing happen to me, or I think that is what it is. the 90 degree breather deal, off the top of the valve cover.

Try searching "intercooler piping pop" and see if that fits the bill.

if it was the ic piping then wouldnt the car not drive the same? cause when i drive it doesnt seem like anything has changed

With the aem comp your intercooler pipe can pop off and
the eng will still run,just wont boost. Guess how I know.

maybe a coolant line or an A/C line. you would smell coolant though. an A/C line burst in my buddies mustang a couple weeks ago. we heard a pop and then saw all the freon being released.
